New this summer for children ages 4–5: 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗟𝗮𝗯 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽!

Calling all curious minds! This exciting new camp is packed with hands-on experiments, creative discoveries, and outdoor adventures designed especially for preschool-aged children. Little scientists will have the opportunity to mix, splash, explore, and create while learning about the world around them through play-based activities.

Each day brings a new discovery as children build confidence, ask questions, and develop a love of learning in a fun, supportive environment.

🎉🎂 Help us wish a very happy birthday to our amazing board member, Justin! 🎂🎉

If there’s a job to be done, a mystery pile of tables to conquer, or general hall chaos that needs organizing… chances are Justin is already there. 😂🙌

Justin is always one of the first to jump in, lend a hand, and somehow turn “how did this happen?” moments into “we’ve got this!” moments. Whether it’s helping behind the scenes, keeping things moving, or bringing his own special brand of shenanigans to the mix — we truly appreciate everything he does for Southwood. 💚

Thank you, Justin, for the countless ways you show up for this community, for your dedication, your humor, and for being the kind of person who makes the big things (and the tiny weird things 🤪) happen.

We hope your birthday is filled with laughs, good food, and maybe… just maybe… a day off from organizing chaos. 😉🎉

If you're thoughtful, capable, and self-aware — but still find yourself people-pleasing, over-functioning, carrying too much in relationships, or disconnected from your own needs — you may be carrying a Mother Wound.

In my free Mother Wound Workshop, we’ll explore where these patterns come from, how early relationships shape adult life, and why healing is not about blame, fixing yourself, or forcing forgiveness.

Healing comes from understanding what's actually happening — so real change becomes possible.

🎉✨ That’s a wrap on Kids Night Out (for now!) ✨🎉

Southwood community… you did it again. 💚 We are so incredibly grateful for the amazing support, energy, and enthusiasm you continue to bring to these events!

A HUGE thank you to all the families who joined us, trusted us with your littles, and helped make Kids Night Out such a fun part of our community. Watching the kids show up ready for whatever we throw their way — always with the biggest smiles and the best attitudes — is truly the best. 🥰

A very special shout-out to our incredible volunteers — this event would not happen without you! From setup to cleanup and everything in between, we appreciate you more than you know. You are the magic behind the scenes! 💫

And of course… a massive THANK YOU to Active Kids Academy for joining us this past event! You brought the energy, the laughs, and ALL the fun. 🎨🏃‍♀️🎉 You guys are rockstars, and we know the kids had an absolute blast!

Join us on Monday, June 29 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM in the Main Hall for a morning of connection, conversation, and community.

All seniors are welcome! This is a safe and welcoming space to gather, chat with friends, play games, share stories, or even bring along a hobby or project to work on.

Light refreshments will be provided as we enjoy a relaxed morning together with neighbours and friends. 💛
