‼️ LAST CHANCE TO SIGN UP‼️

- Update to Keynote Speaker-

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Paulette Poitras is unable to present as our Keynote speaker.

With that being said, we are excited to announce that:
Dr. James Makokis, a national and internationally recognized leader and author in the area of Indigenous health and transgender health, will be standing in for the keynote and will be speaking with some of Humble Lodge's 2s youth !

Additionally, Dr. Makokis will be leading the Edmonton 2 Spirit Society's Pipe Ceremony for the Bridging 7 Generations Gathering.

🪶Treaties 6, 7 & 8 are coming together to address the discrimination, stereotypes, and violence faced by Indigenous Two-Spirit and LGBTQIA+ communities across Alberta

🌈Our mission is to guide communities in navigating the programs, systems, and supports that create safer, braver spaces for Indigenous 2SLGBTQIA+ people❤️

This gathering is a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between our youth and elders, to foster understanding and wisdom sharing. Let’s learn from one another and build a stronger, more inclusive future together 👩‍👩‍👧‍👦

Our Votes. Our Voices. Our Future.

2SLGBTQIA+ organizations are holding our communities together—through crisis response, gender-affirming care, housing, and more. But rising hate and short-term funding are putting them at risk.

🚨 Hate crimes have tripled since 2016
🚨 Vital services are closing
🚨 Safe spaces are disappearing

We need lasting solutions. This election, we’re calling on all federal parties to commit $45M/year in long-term funding for 2SLGBTQIA+ organizations—urban, rural, trans-led, and community-based.

Pride at the Polls is a national campaign to mobilize voters, educate our communities, and protect the organizations that protect us.

📅 Election Day: April 28, 2025

We’re not just voting for rights.
We’re voting for our future.
