đźš—đź’™ Mentorship is Powered by People. People like YOU.

Behind every mentoring relationship is an entire community working together to make it possible.

At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and Area, we like to think of mentorship as a vehicle. Our mentors and mentees are at the heart of the journey, but it takes many moving parts to keep mentorship moving forward.

From our volunteers and dedicated staff to the donors and community partners who help fuel our programs, every person plays a role. Every part matters.

Through our ongoing Powered by People series, we're taking you behind the scenes to meet the people who make mentorship possible and share the incredible work that happens along the way.

✨ And there's a place for YOU on this journey!

Whether you volunteer your time, make a donation or help spread the word, you can play a part in helping young people reach their potential.

đź’› Ready to help keep mentorship moving? Visit bbbscalgary.ca to volunteer or donate today.

Because mentorship may begin with two people, but it's powered by all of us.

Subsidized training for AMP partners!

This three-part series of trainings is specifically tailored for professionals working with individual clients and families.

The Natural Supports Framework provides the tools for engaging a network of family, community, and peer relationships in the care of your clients. Research suggests that practitioners understand the importance of natural supports but may not effectively engage them without tools and supports. This three-part series (January 14, February 11, and March 25 9AM to 12PM) of trainings is specifically tailored for professionals working with individual clients and families.

After the first training session, participants will engage in several weeks of practising a natural supports approach prior to subsequent training sessions.
