The Squadron Band sounds so great!

Behind a great band is the leadership of the Drum Major. The Drum Major holds a pivotal role in the band in making sure they look good, instruments are working, they have their music ready and so much more!

This year we presented the role of Drum Major to FSgt Ebogue!

The first Commanding Officer Parade of this training year happened on Tuesday night. The cadets were amazing with the march past and parade in general. The band is nice and loud and doing great for this early in the training year.

Saturday a small group of cadets participated in Gliding. It was a shorter day due to the weather being cool and windy.

Today the Squadron attended the Battle of Britain parade hosted by 700 Wing RCAF Association. We remember the sacrifices of those who were apart of this historical event.

The Battle of Britain was a crucial turning point in World War II, fought entirely in the skies over the United Kingdom between July and October 1940. It was the first major military campaign in history fought entirely by air forces, pitting the British Royal Air Force (RAF) against Germany’s Luftwaffe.
