DEADLINE FOR INDOOR SOCCER REGISTRATION IS SEPTEMBER 7 @ 9:00pm.

Registration continues until September 7 @ 9:00pm. Registrations submitted after September 7 @ 9:01pm will be placed on a waitlist and will incur a $35.00 late fee.

SWEMSA combined with Allard Community League offers community indoor soccer for girls and boys in programs from U5 to U19.

Playing in a fully boarded pitch (like a hockey rink), games are 6v6, players change on the fly, no offside, pass the ball off the boards, and have lots of opportunities to score. It’s an exciting game with minimal stoppages. Refer to www.emsasouthwest.com for all information.

A valid Allard Community League membership is required to register. Click the link below for your households membership. Including community soccer registration, your membership gives you access to free community swims, all outdoor community rinks, and discounts. Annual memberships are active Aug1-July 31.

Volunteering for the Allard Community League will count as the volunteer requirement for SWEMSA Indoor season. This includes board members, committee members, events, etc.
Email the Soccer Coordinator the full name of both the child(ren) and parent volunteer(s). The coordinator will VERIFY IT and then inform SWEMSA. Email [email protected]

Registration for Indoor Community League Soccer is open!!!! Visit www.emsasouthwest.com to register your child(ren) for boys and girls U5-19.

Indoor season will tentatively begin October 17, 2026 running until the end of January, with games/practices at three facilities around Edmonton.
South Soccer Centre (6520 Roper Road)
West Soccer Centre (17415 106A Ave)
East Soccer Centre (12720 Victoria Trail)

Mark your calendars! Community League Day and Free Family Friendly Movie Night coming to Allard Park on September 19, 2026. Event starts at 5 pm with food trucks, balloon twisting, face painting, concession and an EPL tent with tons of kids activities. Movie will begin at dusk ~8:15. Bring a blanket, lawn chair and especially bug spray to watch our feature film in style.

As many residents of Allard have already noticed, there is a fence around our soccer field at Allard Park, SE from our Dr. Lila Fahlman School. Here is the update from the City of Edmonton.

As parents of soccer players, many of us here at the Allard Community League are really looking forward to the upgrades.

Update (26-May-2026) - Dr. Lila Fahlmn Soccer Field project

Dear Stakeholders,

Please find an update regarding the Dr. Lila Fahlman Soccer Field construction project.

Procurement and Tendering: A General Contractor has been secured for the construction phase. They are currently submitting necessary documentation, including Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and environmental protocols, required for project startup.

Forestry: Tree removal on the north side of the field is scheduled for early next week. Crews will secure and cordon off the work area.

Early Mobilization: To optimize the timeline following the conclusion of classes on June 23, 2026, we aim to advance construction start on June 24. Currently, we are reviewing this option with the general contractor.

Schedule:

April 2026: Design (Completed)

April/ May: Procurement/Tendering (Completed)

May 2026: Contract award to Prime contractor (Completed)

June 24, 2026: Construction mobilization, site fencing, Utility investigations

July through End of September 2026: Construction

September 2026 to August 2027: One year maintenance

October 2027: Final Completion/Resume booking

🚴 Bike Month is a wrap! 🚴
Together, the Allard Community League logged an incredible 1,284.42 km throughout June! A huge thank you to everyone who rode, tracked their kilometres, and helped make this year's challenge a success.

We also had a fantastic community group ride to the ice cream truck—a fun way to celebrate cycling, connect with neighbours, and enjoy a sweet treat together!

Now it's time to celebrate! Join us Friday, July 3, from 9–11 AM at United Sport & Cycle as we announce our Bike Month winners and award the grand prizes. We hope to see you there!
