Every year, millions of tonnes of food are thrown away, taking valuable water, land, and energy resources with them.

💦 Around 25% of the world’s freshwater supply is used to grow food that is never eaten.

🍔 A single wasted burger represents roughly 660 gallons of water.

🌾 Wasted food occupies nearly 1.4 billion hectares of land worldwide.

The good news? Small changes at home can make a big difference:

✅ Shop with a list
✅ Freeze food before it spoils
✅ Trust your senses not just the “best before” date
✅ Use the FIFO method (First In, First Out)

Reducing food waste isn’t just about saving money but it’s about protecting our water, conserving land, and creating a more sustainable future. 🌱
