Types of prayer young people can do in a group

#1 Popcorn Prayer

A "popcorn prayer" refers to quick, spontaneous prayers shared in a group, like kernels popping at different times, or short, frequent prayers throughout the day, often to build gratitude or overcome the pressure of long prayers. It can also be a structured activity where people offer short, specific thanks or requests in a round-robin style, sometimes using prompts or fill-in-the-blanks, making prayer accessible for beginners.

This coming 2026, God is raising a people who are not afraid to be broken.

They are not merely after wholeness—
they are after brokenness, so they may know God more deeply.

Brokenness is not weakness— it is the gateway to power. It is where the flesh dies, the altar is rebuilt, and the fire of God falls again.

Revival does not flow from talent, platforms, or convenience, but from lives fully surrendered, yielded, and laid down.

To truly know Him is to walk the way of the cross.
The fellowship of His sufferings births intimacy, authority, and holy fire.

When we suffer with Him, we carry His heart.
When we die with Him, resurrection life is released through us.

The crushing produces oil.
The fire purifies the offering.
And the broken vessel becomes a carrier of glory.

"Lord, break us again—
until nothing remains but You. Break our hearts for what breaks Yours! Mark us with the cross, fill us with Your Spirit, and let our lives cry out for revival.

Let the Lamb receive
the reward of His suffering! 🔥"

Did you know that p**n consumption increases by up to 30% during the holidays?
Not because sexual desire suddenly intensifies, but because loneliness does.

From a clinical perspective, this tells us something important:
unwanted sexual behavior is often an attempt to regulate pain, not indulge pleasure.
When connection feels risky or unavailable, the brain looks for relief that feels immediate and controllable. P**n becomes a substitute for comfort, safety, and being seen—without the vulnerability of relationship.

That’s why behavior modification alone rarely produces lasting freedom.
You can interrupt a habit without healing the hunger beneath it.

Scripture has always understood this.
The first problem named in the Bible wasn’t lust—it was loneliness.
“It is not good for the man to be alone.”
Sin didn’t just introduce moral failure; it fractured communion. With God. With others. Within ourselves.

Addiction grows where disconnection lives.
Healing begins where truth is shared, attachment is restored, and love is embodied.

The gospel doesn’t merely call us to stop doing bad things.
It invites us back into relationship—into being fully known and fully loved.
That’s why freedom is found not just in restraint, but in restored connection.
Not in isolation, but in community.
Not in managing behavior, but in healing desire.

Loneliness drives addiction.
Connection is what breaks its power.

Who would have guessed? Young men are leading the charge back to church while the world grows quieter on faith. If you’re one of these men: standing with courage and conviction: know this: you’re not alone.

"Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity." (1 Timothy 4:12)

As older generations wrestle with doubt, you have a chance to help build bridges: step up for mentorship, pray together, and share your walk. God’s calling you to be a light in His house. Intergenerational strength is the way forward. Proud of every young brother who chooses faith over fear.

Lessons from teenage girls

Say the compliments you're thinking, out loud. State your appreciation frequently and thoroughly, even if it seems obvious. Specifically compliment the values, actions, and character traits that help a person feel seen, really seen.
