🙏 Prayer Request | Mexico
Our Father’s House community in Mexico was in the path of Tropical Storm Rachel last night and this morning. Thankfully, everyone is safe and, for the most part, staying dry. However, they are dealing with power outages and flooded roads as they navigate the aftermath of the storm.
Please join us in praying for continued safety, the restoration of power, and for the roads to clear so families can get where they need to go. We’re grateful for God’s protection over our Father’s House families and appreciate your prayers for our community in Mexico. 💙🧡

💙 DID YOU KNOW?
Our Father’s House director in South Africa, Debbie, does more than walk alongside families caring for vulnerable children. She also comes alongside young mothers facing crisis pregnancies.
Many of these mothers are very young and facing an incredibly difficult season. Debbie has ultrasound equipment that allows her to provide support and care during pregnancy, helping these young women see their babies and receive encouragement when they may feel overwhelmed or alone.
Sometimes, helping a mother through a crisis can make all the difference.
By supporting and strengthening young mothers, we can help create pathways for children to remain with their families instead of becoming separated from them. 🧡 This is one more way to break cycles of separation and bring practical love, hope, and support to vulnerable families.

🏠 It’s more than a house. It’s a place to belong. 💙
At Father’s House International, we believe every child deserves more than a safe place to sleep. They deserve a family who knows their name, celebrates their milestones, walks through the hard days with them, and reminds them that they are loved.
That’s why we believe in families over institutions.
From Romania to South Africa to Mexico, Father’s House families are opening their homes, sharing their lives, and showing children the practical love of Jesus.
Because children don’t just need care.
They need family. They need community. They need to know they belong.

Two answered prayers in one week.
This past week, Baby G in Mexico finally received his hearing aids, a need we have been waiting and praying for. But in the same week, he received an even greater gift: his forever family.
For almost a year, Baby G has been deeply loved and cherished by his Father’s House family. They have celebrated his milestones, advocated for him, prayed for him, and loved him as their own.
And this week, he was welcomed through adoption into his new forever family. 🥹💙
What a beautiful answer to prayer.
Please pray for Baby G as he adjusts to this new season: for comfort, security, connection, and joy as he learns what it means to grow up in his forever family.
And please pray for his Father’s House family, too. They know that this is what they hoped and prayed for, but that doesn’t make saying goodbye easy. They sent a little piece of their hearts with him.
Two answered prayers in one week. One little boy surrounded by love. And a lifetime of new beginnings ahead. 🧡

Urgent prayer request for Virgil. 💙🧡
Please join us in praying for Virgil, one of our Father’s House fathers in Romania, who is currently in the ICU after his health recently took a serious turn.
Pray for God’s presence, peace, wisdom, and His will over Virgil and his two sons during this uncertain time.

📚 Back to School Prayer 🇷🇴
Today, our Father’s House children in Romania are heading back to school. Please join us in praying for them and their families.
🙏 Pray for safety and protection as political tensions continue to rise in Romania.
🙏 Pray for peace and stability in their communities.
🙏 Pray for provision for each Father’s House family as they meet the needs of a new school year.
🙏 And pray that our children would feel safe, loved, and supported as they begin another year of learning and growing.

Sometimes, saying “yes” requires extraordinary courage. 💙
Recently, in Romania, two young siblings needed a safe place to call home. One of our Father’s House mothers, a single mom who was already caring for children, opened her heart and her home and said yes to both of them.
She could have said, “I don’t know if I can do this.”
Instead, she chose to make sure these siblings could stay together.
Today, they are settling into their new home. They are calm, easygoing children who enjoy playing together and with the other children in the family. They are learning the routines of their new home, preparing to begin school, and experiencing something they desperately needed: stability, love, and the security of knowing they belong.
After the difficult loss of their previous family situation, they are grateful for the food, clothing, care, and love they now receive. And their foster mother is committed to walking alongside them as they adjust and begin this new chapter.
But taking in two more children is a significant commitment, especially for a single mother.
This is where partnership makes a difference.

🎒📚 Back to School in Mexico! 🇲🇽
Next week, the children in our Father’s House families in Mexico will be heading back to school!
For some, it’s a familiar classroom with familiar faces. For others, it means a new school, a new grade, new challenges, and new experiences.
Every new school year brings a mix of excitement and uncertainty. And behind every child is a family cheering them on, helping with homework, preparing lunches, calming first-day nerves, and reminding them that they are capable and loved.
As they begin this new school year, would you join us in praying for our children?
