We lost a good man on September 1, 2026. One of our founding club members W***y Arsenault. W***y had a huge personality loved the Northern Bluegrass Circle, bluegrass, fiddling and jamming. He served on a few board positions and as President for 3 years. He loved to teach and share with others, a great mentor to many. He could be found weekly attending both the Wild Rose Old Tyme Fiddlers Association Jam and the bluegrass jam. Although he has not attended the jam since his move to Cold Lake, he was always here is spirt. He was a multi-instrumentalist and quick to jump in with whatever instrument was needed. He knew kids were are future and put together the clubs’ fist and only kids’ bluegrass group “Short Grass”. Denise his life partner was also part of the early years of the club. Our condolences go out to Denise, their family and everyone who knew him, his smile and sense of humor will be missed by many. Rest easy dear friend.
