Happy Children’s Day!

The earliest celebration of Children’s Day dates all the way back to 1857.

By 1925, it became a global movement when International Children’s Day was first proclaimed in Geneva.

While the UN recognizes November 20th, different countries have their own traditions.

China celebrates on June 1st, Japan on May 5th, and Britain on August 20th.

In Nigeria, May 27th has been a cherished day of festivity across all 36 states since 1964.

But regardless of the date on the calendar, the message remains the same:

Every child deserves love, learning, safety, and a chance to shine.
