On Sunday, May 1, 2022 our council members were invited to a presentation of an electric scooter from Tabs For Wheels. A dozen or so members joined Jenny Drouin, a long time member, at this gathering. Jenny has been collecting all the can and pop pull tabs from our council members and adding them to the collection of tabs collected to buy this scooter for a fortunate recipient. This is the 10th electric scooter that Tabs for Wheels has presented. It takes 10,000,000 tabs to get a scooter. Lillian Stradesky founded Tabs for Wheels in 1994. It has passed through many hands and is presently being run by the Knights of Columbus. The new scooter was presented Debra Clark by Katherine Such, CEO of Easter Seals, Alberta.
