Did you know that we're often able to provide freshly grown food from the outdoor gardens for our communities in June and July, even in ? By focusing on starting plants indoors and using donations to purchase established plants from greenhouses locally, we get a great head start on the growing season- even things like tomatoes and squashes!

We would love to have additional friends help grow food for our market days at the senior's living facilities we support. We provide the seeds, and you let us know when it's time to come harvest! You can also choose to self harvest and come to one of our sites to see the on-site gardens as well.

We love this!

Our community volunteers harvested over 5,000 lbs. of zucchini this morning! The pounds are impressive but here at America’s Grow-a-Row we like to think about the people we impact. 21,000 servings of zucchini will be delivered to people who need it most in NJ and beyond. 🥒💚🌱

It is a sad day for our organization as we've suffered our first large theft- about a dozen large pots we used to plant tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers in at our sites. If anyone in has large pots they no longer require, or even the large Home Depot buckets, please reach out.

Some people see an admittedly barren rooftop. We see opportunity. Introducing the newest Seeds for Seniors site- complete with a landscaped yard, raised beds and two enormous 11th floor rooftop spaces for growing.
