Northside Back‑to‑School Success!

On August 23, the Caribbean Optimist Club of Edmonton teamed up with the Dinner Optimist Club of Edmonton, Can Man Dan Foundation, Room XI, Edmonton's Food Bank, Shadified Salon, and other incredible community partners to support families at the We're Here for Ya Day event.

Thousands of backpacks filled with school supplies were distributed at the event! Families also received winter boots, clothing, food hampers, optical screening, haircuts, and dental hygiene products, helping kids start the school year with confidence.
💬 “This event shows the power of community in action. When organizations unite with purpose, we create meaningful change for families who need it most.” — Caribbean Optimist Club of Edmonton

We’re grateful to every donor, volunteer, and partner who made this possible, including Can Man Dan Foundation, Room XI, Edmonton’s Food Bank, Shadified Salon, and many more.
