Liz Ingram was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer and told she had 18 months to live. Yet, 12 years later, she’s making art, going to yoga, and laughing with friends! ✨

“People are living with advanced cancer for not just weeks or months but years, and they are living full lives” - Dr. Pituskin

Dr. Pituskin launched ‘LONGEVITY’, a qualitative study of people living with advanced cancer that includes an art exhibit at the Stanley A. Milner Library until the end of May!

🚨🚨New technology has the potential to revolutionize lymphedema diagnosis and treatment! 💪🏼

A team has been awarded $8 million to develop a next-generation 3D ultrasound scanning system.

Current MRI technologies have limitations visualizing lymphatic and blood vessels at micro scale. The UofA team has developed technologies comprising super-resolution contrast ultrasound and photoacoustic imaging of the lymphatic system.✨
