We had a happy problem—well over 200 boxes received between the March workday and April workday! 😮📦

Even with 70 more boxes added after the "before" video, we had a very full workday. Some volunteers drove with their church's boxes from Saskatchewan to join the workday. We had fun making and renewing connections as we worked together sorting and packing. (Again, not all participants are pictured!)

Those from the medical field helped us discern what is helpful to send, and some who had a heart for youth also spent time with a student who happened to join us. Those who have sorted items in the Ministry Centre shared ways to pack items more easily for the Centre to process. And many sorted and lifted boxes without grumbling! Everyone contributed! ☺️

We still have many more boxes to process at the May workday (Tuesday, May 5, 9:30 am–noon). Join us if you can! 🙌

Getting Together 🙌

Our March workday at the Ministry Centre was well attended (approximately half of them were not pictured 😮), with a church group from Edmonton joining us instead of their workday. What a fun opportunity to get to know those who make and collect items we sort at the Centre! And it is a great opportunity for local church groups to see and experience what happens after the boxes are dropped off. 👀📦

🧺 This month, we had a very generous donation of linens and towels from a hotel, which recently switched out its linens and towels to a different design. The perfectly clean towels were sorted and nicely packed for hospitals!

The baby layette assembly team finished their part early, as we ran out of baby diapers. If you are wondering what is currently needed the most of the four (hat, footed sleeper, diaper, and blanket), please consider making diapers. ✂️ 🪡

Thank you to all of you who are participating in this global ministry from where you are & travelling from everywhere! 🌎

Second workday—done! ✅
The team has finished sorting all the boxes received so far. We’re now waiting for more baby sleepers so we can assemble all the layettes.

Some of the medical supplies that could not be sent to Cameroon were donated to local charities and partner organizations. We are so grateful for our Lord’s abundant provision through your generosity, and we are thrilled to pass those blessings on to others. (God often blesses people through other people—think of the Egyptian neighbours and the Israelites at the Exodus, Boaz and Ruth, or the early church, just to name a few!)

Thank you for joining in His work of provision through your prayers, donated items for the container, financial gifts, time, knowledge, skills, connections, and even items that were redirected to other causes. He is using all of it for His glory! ✨🙌

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! We started our series of workdays for the May 2026 shipment. We get the joy of seeing many prayers and generosity in these donated items, as well as connecting and working with those from other churches. And thank you to those who participated, offering their time, energy, skills, and expert knowledge for the ministry! 🙏

Is the Ministry Centre empty between shipments?

Not at all, because we keep receiving and processing boxes. In fact, many people travel around Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, and Family Day, while we may not be advertising the next shipment prominently. We already have more than 100 boxes in the space! 🚗

When you have your boxes ready and find someone travelling from/to Edmonton, please pass on the boxes to us even well in advance of the cut-off day. We have a series of workdays starting in January. 🌅

And thank you for continuing to collect and prepare items to go into the container. The reason why we keep receiving is that people across Canada—like you—keep collecting. We also think of God, who keeps connecting you to the resources and keeps us moving. It makes us grateful that our God neither slumbers nor sleeps. 📦✨
