ASIF CHILDREN'S SUMMER CAMP 2026

📢 IMPORTANT REGISTRATION NOTICE

Please choose either July or August for your child's summer camp registration. We cannot accommodate registrations for both months, as we want to give other children the opportunity to attend as well.

If you have registered for both July and August, I will be deleting the registration and you will need to register again for your preferred month.

Alternatively, please notify us as soon as possible which month you would like your child to attend.

NOW HIRING – SUMMER CAMP COUNSELLORS
The Alberta Society of Islamic Fellowship (ASIF) is looking for enthusiastic and responsible youth to join our Summer Camp Team!

👥 Positions Available: 10 Camp Counsellors
📍 Location: Clareview Recreation Centre, Edmonton
📅 Schedule: Monday to Friday
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
🕒 Hours: 35 hours per week
👤 Eligibility: Youth ages 17–30 years old

✨ Responsibilities:

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children
• Organize games, sports, and recreational activities
• Assist with arts & crafts and educational activities
• Encourage teamwork and positive behavior
• Support children during swimming and playground activities
• Maintain a fun, safe, and welcoming environment
• Work closely with camp staff and supervisors
• Help prepare and clean activity areas
• Take photos/videos for camp updates and activities

COST: FREE

WHO: Available to children ages 7 years old to 12 years old.

WHEN: Monday to Friday (except on Statutory Holidays), from 9:00AM to 3:00 PM.

DURATION: Monday, July 8, 2024 to Wednesday, August 31, 2024.

WHERE: Clareview Recreation Centre. (Meet-Up Point = tables and chairs near the front reception area).

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Saturday, July 2, 2024 Children who are accepted into the program will receive their acceptance letter via email on Sunday, July 3, 2023. Your child’s Camp Counsellor information and other important information (such as rules, regulations, procedures, and Camp Activity Schedule) will be provided in the email.

INTAKE: 24 spots for children for July 2024 and 24 spots for children for August.
First-come, first-serve basis. 1 teacher is to 6 children.
