The Camrose pancake breakfast is on no matter what!

We've noticed a lot of people checking the weather forecast lately.

Trust us—we've checked it too. Several times. Per hour.

We're all hoping for favourable flying weather on Sunday. But here's the good news:
The "Fly-in Department" may depend on the weather.
The 'Breakfast Department" doesn't.

For 67 years, the Camrose Fly-In Breakfast has happened on the last Sunday in May. Some years we've enjoyed blue skies and packed ramps. Other years we've been reminded that Mother Nature doesn't read NOTAMs.

Either way, the pancakes will be hot, the coffee will be flowing, and the stories will get better with every refill.

We're hoping to welcome lots of visiting aircraft, but whether there are 100 airplanes, 10 airplanes, or just a bunch of pilots standing around discussing the weather, the tradition continues.

Come support local aviation. Come enjoy breakfast. Come celebrate 67 years of community spirit!

Rain or shine, we'll see you at Camrose Airport.

We are looking forward to flying to Hanna, Alberta on June 6!

🚨 Hanna is excited to welcome the Alberta Air Tour on June 6, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Hanna Community Airport. ✈️

This unique fly-in event will bring pilots from across the region to Hanna for the day, offering a rare opportunity to see a variety of aircraft up close and meet the people who fly them. Once they arrive, planes will be parked and secured, allowing visitors to walk among them and take in the experience. ☀️

Aircraft are expected to arrive by late morning, with departures beginning in the mid-afternoon.

The event will offer a fun, family-friendly atmosphere, with food and beverages available for purchase, local organizations on site, and free cotton candy while supplies last. Vendors will be cash only, so please bring small bills. 💵

This event is sponsored by the Hanna and District Chamber of Commerce and Harvest Sky Economic Development.

We look forward to welcoming you to the airport for an enjoyable afternoon in the community.

With the first Alberta Air Tour of 2026 just around the corner, it's exciting to see communities coming together to make these events a reality, fueled by the collective passion of pilots, local towns, and flying clubs working in harmony to drive progress and celebration.

We also want to give a shout out to Canadian Owners and Pilots Association - COPA for their support. COPA sponsors the plaques we present to the communities and provides our insurance for each event.

Merry Christmas everyone!
We have so much in store for 2026. Join us in the spring for an overnight trip where we will gather to celebrate aviation and maybe a little... s***t shooting?!! In August we are planning a one stop trip to the Fort MacMurray airport where we will celebrate aviation with the community and enjoy an organized aerial tour of some of the oil sand operations north of the city. Watch for details in the new year!
