International Dark Sky Week takes place from April 13 to 20, bringing global attention to the importance of protecting the night sky!!
This annual observance encourages individuals and communities to learn about the impacts of light pollution and take steps toward preserving natural darkness for future generations.
RASC members are encouraged to use this week as an opportunity to reflect on the importance of dark skies, share information within their communities, and explore ways to reduce light pollution in their own environments.
Whether through responsible lighting practices, public education, or simply taking time to observe the night sky, small actions can make a meaningful difference.
