🍗 WHAT A NIGHT! 🍻
A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out and made Wing Dings such a fantastic night! 🎉
Whether you were battling it out in the co****le tournament, enjoying the music, digging into the wings and fries, or simply hanging out with friends and neighbours — thank you for being part of it! Congratulations to our co****le champs Doug and Steve!

Events like this are all about bringing our community together, and you certainly made this one to remember. The evening wouldn't have been possible without our event sponsors Acros, Ballyduff Farms, Dominique Gauthier, Myers Kanata and Robertson Landscape. Also, thank you to Malwood, Scratch Sandwich Shop, Stonecrest Acres, Tails & Trails, Travellers Lane, and West Carleton Online for their support.

A big shout-out to the Burban Guerrillas and Cooler Acoustics for keeping us entertained throughout the night! And a very special thank you to our organizer, Lauren Martin, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes for months to bring Wing Dings together and make sure everything ran so smoothly. 👏❤️

Until the next Wing Dings! 🍗🍻

❤️🍗 THE WHY BEHIND WING DINGS 🍗❤️

Dunrobin has been through some hard things. And when it has, we’ve seen this community come together in pretty incredible ways.

But community isn’t only built in hard times. It’s built in good times, too.

Wing Dings came from a pretty simple idea: let’s give Dunrobin a reason to get together, have some fun, enjoy a meal, listen to some music, crown some co****le winners and just enjoy being neighbours.

And that’s it. That’s the whole point.

All proceeds from Wing Dings go back into programming at the Community Centre. Last year’s small profit helped us purchase the new sign on Dunrobin Road, which will help more people see and find the programs happening in our community.

Fundraising isn’t the goal. Coming together is.

Last year, you came out and had such a great time that we felt confident enough to throw this party again. But here’s the thing: YOU are what makes it work.

Let’s stand out for a good time, Dunrobin. ❤️

🎟️ Tickets close TONIGHT at midnight.

🎶🍗 WING DINGS IS BRINGING THE MUSIC! 🍻

Last year, we had a live band who we quite literally played off their feet. One of our newer DCA board members Robert Fitts (and longtime musician) lent his talents to our little community event, and honestly, the crowd did not want them to stop playing.

So naturally, we asked them back.

This year, The Cooler Acoustics are joining forces with The Burban Guerillas for an even bigger night of music. They’ve been practicing all summer, and on Sept 12th both bands are battling it out for crowd favourites!

Expect everything from Eagles, Clapton, Van Morrison and Paul Simon to The Tragically Hip, Talking Heads, Queen, Neil Diamond, Cat Stevens, Dawes, Eddie Vedder and more. Basically… something for everyone & a special Neil Young Tribute.

And of course:

🚗🍗 A LITTLE WING DINGS UPGRADE! 🍻🎶

We’ve got some exciting news for this year’s Wing Dings — with the help and support of Myers Nissan, we’re offering a designated driver ride-home service! 🙌

That means you can enjoy the wings, have a few drinks, dance to the band, battle it out on the co****le boards… and not have to worry about getting home safely.

We’re incredibly grateful to Myers Nissan Kanata for helping us make this upgrade happen, and to ALL of our sponsors for stepping up and supporting the community. This is exactly what local sponsorship is all about — making a great night even better. ❤️

And speaking of a great night…

🎟️ Tickets are moving! We’ve had a great week of sales, but we want to give everyone as much time as possible to get in on the fun — so we’ve EXTENDED TICKET SALES!
