NCWL Cat Rescue

NCWL Cat Rescue Neveah's Charity of West Lincoln (NCWL) is a cat rescue. We rescue most cats/kittens from the high volume shelter(s) where they can be euthanized.

We also help with stray and abandoned cats/kittens. We are located in the GTA in Ontario Canada NCWL is a registered charity, non-profit organization that helps to save stray & abandoned cats/kittens, most of which come from high volume shelters and might otherwise be euthanized.

Looking to welcome more joy into your life? Love cats? Want to support your community? If this sounds good, we'd love to hear from you 🐾

We’re currently seeking dedicated volunteers to help care for rescue cats at the following PetSmart location:

📍 PetSmart Centennial @ 502 Centennial Parkway North in Stoney Creek

Volunteer Requirements:

* Must be reliable
* Must be 18 years or older
* Must be comfortable with all types of cats, experience with rescues is an asset
* Able to commit to one
shift per week
* Capable of cleaning cages and litter boxes, feeding, and playing/socializing with cats
* Able to work independently
* Comfortable working with the Public

🕒 Currently looking for Volunteers to fill the morning shifts and weekends
📚 Training will be provided

Diesel was found tucked inside a car engine during the freezing cold and has grown into the gentlest soul. This silver and white tabby is quiet and gentle and would thrive in a calm home environment.

Meet Hearty & Midnight – Still Waiting
💔🧡🖤

Hearty and Midnight are 11 months old and they have been waiting almost their entire lives for a home.

Growing up in a shelter environment, watching other cats get chosen while they continue to be overlooked.

They didn’t have an easy start. They came in scared and under-socialized, unsure of people and the world around them. But with time, patience, and love, they have completely transformed.

Now, they greet us every day with the brightest, most hopeful eyes, ready for headbutts, pets, and even the occasional kiss. They’ve learned to trust, and they crave that connection.

Hearty is the brave, playful leader, always looking out for her brother. Midnight, once so shy, now melts into affection with the sweetest, loudest purr. Their bond is beautiful. They comfort each other, play endlessly, and share everything.

They are still very much kittens - full of energy, curiosity, and joy and they deserve to experience that in a real home. They love to pace and explore.

Their first birthday is quickly approaching, and we can’t bear the thought of them spending it still waiting.

They need an adult-only home with someone patient and experienced who can continue to build their confidence. They get along with other cats and have not been tested with dogs.

Hearty and Midnight are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, and are currently being fostered at Best Cat located at 3455 Fairview St, Burlington, ON.

Meet Meadow 🌿 3 year old beauty

Meadow was rescued from an overcrowded shelter while heavily pregnant. She’s safely raised her babies and is now ready to find a quiet, loving home of her own.

She’s still a shy girl and will need a patient, experienced adopter who can help her continue building confidence at her own pace. An adult-only home with no dogs would be best for her.

She's curious about the cats around her so we think she could do well with a confident, calm feline friend after a slow, gradual introduction.

Meadow enjoys gentle pets and has recently started offering the occasional slow blink — a sweet sign that she’s beginning to trust and to warm up to us 💛

2 years old and absolutely gorgeous! Medium length hair

This sweet boy came from a home with several other cats and was transferred to our rescue from a high-volume shelter.

He purrs and makes biscuits when being petted and is such a sweetheart.

We believe that with slow and proper introductions, Camello could do well with other friendly cats.
