If you are interested in purchasing a stone for a former museum member, veteran or active member of the armed forces, please contact the museum via email, [email protected]. Having known for sometime that Noorduyn Harvard FE511 served at RCAF No : 6 Group Dunnville from 1940 to 1944, I asked our good friend Mike Collett to sign this picture for Dunnville (now a museum) as I was visiting this August - at the same time, I wanted to find out for Mike as much information as I could about FE’s time at Dunnville.

I’m pictured presenting the image to the museum, with a little explanation of the aircraft’s current status - in return for my donation, he would engage the help of a museum volunteer who will find out from pilot logbooks they hold who flew the aircraft, on what date and the nature of the sortie - I will pass this information on to Mike when it comes through…

Some well needed rain had just passed through No.6 RCAF Museum after our Executive Meeting Thursday night which lead to a phenomenal sunset. Thanks to our Curator John McKay for capturing the moment. We can enjoy moments like this because of the sacrifice of the many who served at this station. National Trust for Canada / Fiducie nationale du Canada

Thank you for making our Open House a success yesterday. Whether you participated in the car show, browsed through the vendor market, toured the museum or attended the Memorial Service, we truly appreciate you coming out. Mother Nature held off the rain and gave us a great day with some cloud cover to keep things cooler. Huge shout out to Country Chip Wagon for their support, we couldn't do it without you! Our thanks to Acland Aviation for the Stearman fly-bys that had everyone turning their eyes to the sky and to Mike Miron who kept everyone entertained with his vast array of music stylings. It's only July so come out and see us again, we're open Saturday and Sundays from 1-5 until Labour Day.
