Another incredible K9 Ranger Project is in the books! This year, we had the privilege of working with 23 rangers and team leaders, focusing on enhancing their skills to combat wildlife crime.
Over the week, we covered:
- Tracking techniques to maximize efficiency in the field
- K9 learning theory to strengthen handler and dog communication
- Drone integration for advanced operations
- Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) for both humans and K9s
Thanks to donations received, we were able to equip each ranger with a fully stocked Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK), ensuring they’re equipped to handle both K9 and human emergencies in the field!
It’s an honor to support these rangers, who work tirelessly to protect some of the world’s most endangered wildlife. Thank you to each of the instructors, our hosts at BVC, and everyone who has supported the K9 Ranger Project through donations.
