🐾 Help Us Keep Pets Fed and Families Together 🐾
The BC SPCA Cowichan Centre is seeing an increased need for pet food support in our community, and we need your help.
We are currently accepting donations of:
✅ Dry cat food
✅ Dry dog food
✅ Wet cat food
✅ Wet dog food
✅ Cat litter
Every donation received will go right back out into the Cowichan community to help feed hungry pets and support vulnerable pet owners during difficult times. By providing this assistance, we're helping keep beloved pets at home with the families who love them and reducing the number of animals entering already busy shelters.
Donations can be dropped off at the BC SPCA Cowichan Centre during our regular business hours, or you can support us from the comfort of your home by purchasing items through our Amazon Wishlist:
https://www.amazon.ca/hz/wishlist/ls/3TYOFLWELW741/ref=nav_wishlist_lists_1

No donation is too small. Together, we can make sure pets in our community have full bellies and loving homes.
💙 Thank you for supporting local pets and the people who care for them

The BC SPCA is honouring National Truth and Reconciliation Day by closing all its locations on Wednesday, September 30. This is in recognition of the history of residential schools in Canada and their impacts on Indigenous Peoples. The Society will also be ‘going quiet’ across all social media channels to respect and create space for Indigenous voices.

Local government elections are a critical time to speak up about issues that affect our everyday lives. We encourage you to ask your local candidates how they plan to maintain and strengthen animal control bylaws and animal welfare protections in your community.
