BC Nature and Nature Vancouver formed the Young Naturalists’ Club (YNC) in 2000 as a program of Nature Vancouver. In 2006, YNC spun into an independent registered charity and it was re-named NatureKids BC in 2015. NatureKids BC has now expanded from one nature club in Vancouver to almost thirty clubs across the province.

Join us this Sunday, March 1, for our next Explorer Day. We will be going to Cowichan Bay to observe the nesting grounds of the Pacific Great Blue Herons, learn about their life cycle, and then explore the estuary by completing a scavenger hunt. Feel free to bring binoculars if you have them.
