🌾Celebrating Our Agricultural Societies 🌾
Across the County of Newell, Agricultural Societies are the quiet powerhouses that keep rural life thriving. From hosting markets and community celebrations to operating arenas, halls, and other vital facilities, these groups, often run entirely by volunteers, bring people together and keep our communities active year-round.

Here at home, we’re proud to recognize: Bassano Ag Society, Duchess Ag Society, Division Three Agricultural Society – Patricia, Rolling Hills Ag Society, Rosemary Ag Society, Silver Sage Ag Society, and Tilley & District Ag Society.

With 292 Agricultural Societies across Alberta, their collective impact is enormous, and it is the dedication of local volunteers that makes it personal. Thank you for the countless hours spent organizing events, maintaining facilities, and creating opportunities for connection. Our communities are stronger, warmer, and more vibrant because of you.

Thank you to Barton Malow for your volunteers! Their electricians removed outdated stage lights as they get very hot and are rarely used. They rerouted an outlet for center lighting .
