Drayton Valley, let’s get together for a ZABAVA!

Good food, great company, Ukrainian traditions and stories that have been part of Alberta communities for generations.

Bring a dish for our potluck, bring your Ukrainian arts, crafts or family treasures, wear your Ukrainian attire if you have one , or simply come and enjoy the afternoon with us!

Come as you are, bring someone along, and be part of the celebration!

If you're looking for something fun to do today, don't miss the DV Skatepark Jam from 12–4 PM! There's a skateboard competition, free BBQ, and lots of local organizations sharing helpful resources for the community. Huge shoutout to our amazing Drayton Valley and District FCSS team for putting it all together!

And if you're joining our 2nd Ukrainian Dance Workshop, we'll see you at 5:00 PM at Miss Joanne's School of Dance- Drayton Valley. Sounds like a pretty awesome day to be in Drayton Valley.

Registration for the Skateboard Competition will be from 12pm to 1pm. Helmets must be worn to compete! 🛹 Prizes to be won!

*Waivers must be signed by a guardian for competition riders under 18 years old*

As we head into the final wave of our 2026 Heritage Table Series, we're inviting our Ukrainian, Latin, and South Asian Canadians to help us celebrate the stories that have shaped Drayton Valley.

Have you or someone you know called Drayton Valley home for many years? Have you made a difference through your work, business, volunteer service, arts, culture, or simply by being a valued part of our community? We'd be honoured to hear your story and celebrate the people whose journeys continue to inspire, strengthen, and enrich our town for generations to come.
