๐ŸŒฒโœจ Meet the Educators Behind the Adventure โœจ๐ŸŒฒ

When your child joins our Guardians of the Parks Summer Camp, they're not just signing up for four days of outdoor funโ€”they're learning from a team of passionate educators, naturalists, and community experts who love sharing the wonders of nature.

๐Ÿฆ‹ They'll hunt for butterflies and insects with citizen science leaders.

๐Ÿงญ They'll learn navigation skills while exploring forest trails.

๐Ÿ”ฅ They'll build shelters, cook outdoors, and discover practical wilderness skills.

๐ŸŒฟ They'll learn about local wildlife, plants, and ecosystems from people who spend their time exploring and protecting Alberta's natural spaces.

What makes our camp special isn't just what we doโ€”it's who your child gets to learn from.

Our educators believe the best learning happens when kids can touch, explore, discover, and ask questions. Whether it's identifying a mystery insect, finding their way with a compass, or learning how animals survive in the wild, every activity is designed to spark curiosity and build confidence.

๐Ÿ’š We don't just teach kids about nature.

๐ŸŒฒ We help them experience it.

Join us this summer for hands-on adventures, new friendships, and unforgettable discoveries in the forests and trails of Eagle Point Park.

๐Ÿงก Students had the opportunity to take part in a meaningful First Peoples' Teachings at Eagle Point Blue Rapids. Through storytelling, learning, outdoor activities, and cultural connection, students explored Indigenous and Metis perspectives and traditions.

It was an incredible experience to see youth learning, asking questions, and building deeper connections to the history and culture of our region.

A huge THANK Pembina Pipeline Corporation for supporting the day and generously providing and BBQing lunch for the students and volunteers. Your support helped make this experience even more special for everyone involved.

Weโ€™re grateful to all of the educators, volunteers, presenters, and community partners who helped bring this important day to life.
