EPBR is conducting a short Community Awareness Survey to better understand how familiar local residents are with the parks, how often they're visiting, and what might encourage them to explore more.

⏱️ It takes about 2 minutes.

And here's the important part: you don't need to be a park user to participate. In fact, if you've never visited, your response is especially valuable to us!

Help us get a true picture of how well our community knows the incredible natural spaces right in our backyard. 💚

🌲 Looking for something actually COOL to do with your older teen?

As kids get older, finding activities you can genuinely enjoy together gets a little harder.

Our Wilderness Knife Skills & Safety Workshop is a chance to ditch the screens, head outdoors, and spend an afternoon learning practical skills side by side.

You'll learn safe knife handling, proper grips and cutting techniques, wood processing, fire preparation, and knife care through hands-on instruction.

👨‍👧 Ages 16+
Participants ages 16–17 must attend with a participating adult.

No experience necessary, just come ready to learn something new together.

💚 It wouldn’t have been the same summer without you!

As another busy summer at Eagle Point–Blue Rapids comes to an end, it’s time to say goodbye to our wonderful summer student, Caidyn Purdy.

From summer camps and community events to outdoor adventures and everything happening behind the scenes, Caidyn jumped in wherever needed and helped us create some pretty amazing experiences for kids and families this summer.

NEW WORKSHOP — Registration is NOW OPEN!

Join Bushcraft & Wilderness Survival Instructor Russ Meades for our Wilderness Knife Skills & Safety Workshop and spend an afternoon building practical skills you can actually use in the outdoors.

Alyssa and Caidyn are getting ready for another morning of exploring, creating, discovering and having fun at the Drayton Valley Museum.

🏛️🐞 Big adventures for little explorers are back!

After a fantastic first Museum Explorer Day, EPBR and the Drayton Valley Museum are teaming up again on August 20 for another FREE day of exploring, creating and discovering!

Our little explorers will get to experience history, nature and plenty of hands-on fun right on the museum grounds.
