Day 3 at the UNFF🥳 From joining contributions at the plenary sessions to rendering a powerful intervention statement at the People-centered Forest action: Sustainable agroforestry and family farming as drivers for COP 30 delivery through the TERRA GPFI side event organized by .
We also met with Marco Túlio Scarpelli Cabral, Head of the Environment Division of the ministry of foreign affairs, Brazil.
The day ended with great progress on the revision of the drafts.
Had a great time networking and connecting with other youth leaders at UNFF 21. Happy to bring more updates to you.

We understand this, just as we understand that young people are leading the global movement for addressing the climate and nature crises through storytelling. This session will explore how narrative can be harnessed as a tool for learning, connection, and transformation. Join us to learn how storytelling is shaping the future of forests and climate, and how you can support and amplify the voices leading this transformation.

This week, our global ambassador Samuel Fajana is present at the 2025 SAF National Convention hosted by happening in Hartford, Connecticut. From participating in plenary sessions where discussions on the early days of forestry and how the past efforts has established institutions of modern forestry to panels where the current sustainable practices through technology integration and policies implementations has shaped contemporary forestry. We are excited to be spaces like this advocating for young leaders who will take this vision forward.

We are thrilled to present the work we do at Y4N in mobilizing youth to lead on solutions on climate nature nexus. As one of our organizational pillar is storytelling, we showcased Faces of Forestry which has been a living library we use in amplifying young people’s voices, the diversity of forests, the people and practices that has kept it sustained. We are excited to collect more stories of young people leading on the future of forestry and glad to Forster collaborations within these spaces.

A huge thank you to Society of American Foresters hosting this event and creating the spaces for young people to participate. Congratulations on 125 years of SAF!! We celebrate the years of impactful work and leadership you do for forestry profession.
