Hey everyone,

Starting next weekend, the food bank will be moving to a new location. To help ensure a smooth transition for our team and volunteers, we will not be holding a general public food bank day next week.

If you are in need of food, don't worry—we will still be providing hampers for our regular weekly participants. You're welcome to call and book a hamper appointment for next week.
Regular food bank service will resume soon, so please don't fret. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make this move.

To be clear: the food bank is not closing.
Services will simply be temporarily adjusted to allow for a smooth transition.

New Location will be announced soon. So stay tuned! This move is a result of some amazing happenings and growth of the hub, which in part is thanks to all of you for being so engaged with what we're doing.

Coming at you with a special Ovaltine free meal this weekend.

Join us this Sunday, May 24 for another community meal, bringing people together over good food and good company.

Alongside our usual amazing partners, including Kilala Lelum, we’re excited to welcome some new groups to the table, including Ono Vancouver and the V6A Garden.

It takes a community to care for a community, and we’re grateful to everyone helping make this possible.
We’ll see you there.

Big Boom! 💥
Another amazing street feast in the books.
The crowd was fantastic, and the offerings were just as incredible. As always, this wouldn’t be possible without our amazing partners at Kilala Lelum, Washington Market, and Carnegie Community Centre.

On the menu today: 🥩 Steaks
🍗 Chicken
🥩 Pork chops
🌭 Sausage
🥗 Mixed green salad
🥦 Smokey broccoli slaw
🍉 Fresh fruit
🍰 Sweet treats

We’re so grateful for all of our volunteers and partners who continue to show up and make this happen week after week. A special shoutout to Jacqui and Doug for coming early, staying late, and putting in the extra work—it never goes unnoticed.

Catch us at The Ovaltine on Sunday for another amazing spread, featuring chicken, mashed potatoes, and a secret dessert thanks to one of our generous catering partners.
