Canadian Athletic Therapists Association CATA is the certifying and governing body for Certified Athletic Therapists practicing in Canada.

Established in 1965 by a group of ATs working with professional hockey and football teams, CATA now represents over 2900 members. Certified Athletic Therapists (CAT(C)s) are experts in treating injuries to the musculoskeletal system (muscles, bones, and joints), including injury prevention, assessment, emergency and acute care, rehabilitation and re-conditioning.

Join us for “Optimizing Concussion Outcomes: Objective Measures, Neuromuscular Training, and Behavioral Health Interventions,” featuring Dr. David R. Howell, on June 11, 2026.

Dr. Howell is an Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Research at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and Research Director at the Children’s Hospital Colorado Sports Medicine Center.
