BOCCE FRIDAY!! We will be having another bocce drop-in (beginners welcome and equipment provided) Friday at 1 pm. Welcome! The outdoor bocce courts at Hawks Dream Field are accessed from Lingan Street, where there is parking right beside.

NOTICE: Our summer grants are now over. We want to thank our grant workers Jasmine, Mai, Matt and Lucas for keeping things going all summer.

The canteen will be closed unless we have a special event. The splashpad will remain open as well as the washrooms.

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by the canteen to buy some treats. We truly appreciate your support.

PS: We are also super grateful that we were able to get these summer grants. If we hadn't, the canteen wouldn't have been open at all because there's no way we could afford to pay folks to run it. It's just not busy enough. So to be able to provide students with summer employment while also being able to offer a few treats for folks is really amazing.

So sorry folks, the canteen is closed today because there was an issue with the heat pump. Should be back up and running tomorrow!

WHO WANTS TO PLAY BOCCE?!!!
Fridays in August at 1pm (weather-permitting), starting August 7, you are welcome to drop by for free, pop-up recreational bocce on our two open outdoor courts. There will be a five-minute tutorial at the start for anyone new to the game and we will organize into teams. Equipment will be provided. Please remember fluids, hat, sunscreen and even a chair for any down time!

We are super excited for the fireworks this evening! They will be set off over the water this year (second parking lot closest to the Gardiner). So there will be parking at the main beach parking lot.

We invite everyone to join us at the Hawks Dream Field to watch the show. The infield will be cordoned off but everyone is welcome to bring their chairs or blankets and enjoy the show from the outfield. We do ask that you only bring water onto the field.

DJ Melvin will be on hand at 7:00 pm to play some great tunes while you're waiting for the fireworks and Jasmine and Mai will be waiting to serve you at the canteen! Splash pad runs until 8 pm.

The drop-off zone will be just that . . . for dropping off those with mobility issues only. Absolutely no parking in that space. We also ask, for safety reasons, that you do not park along the side of Lingan Street or lower Mitchell Avenue. Emergency vehicles need to be able to get through.
