Please share with anyone you think might be interested in learning how to operate the score clock at the field. Dave Ellsworth has generously offered to do a little training session on Sunday. We will then put a call list together and have it available on our page and at the canteen so teams can book them for games or tournaments.

Please note: You must be 16 or older and you must have a good knowledge of baseball.

HUGE congratulations going out to the Cameron Bowl and the Antonians on both receiving Jays Care Foundation funding to upgrade their fields! Sooo amazing!

The Turnbull Brothers are celebrating a birthday today!!!! If you see either of these sweet, handsome and incredibly talented men today, give them a squeeze! (if you can reach them . . I have to stand on a chair LOL). We absolutely love these guys and we hope you have a great day!

Hecky the Hawk and Breagh & Jerome Kelly were out supporting the MS Walk last weekend! Hecky was so happy to be on hand when Breagh sang the Hawks Dream Field Song "Everyone Gets to Play" that she wrote. And supporting the MS Society helps to ensure just that . . . everyone, no matter their age or ability should have a chance to play! Thanks so much to Kyle Peterson for these great pics!

We’ve missed you the last couple times because of the weather and a nasty technical issue, but we’re back up and running and ready to roll. We can’t wait to see everyone again — drop by, say hey, and grab something delicious.

BUILT ON RESPECT, ROOTED IN COMMUNITY

As another ball season approaches, it feels like th eperfect time to reflect on what the Hawks Dream Field was truly built on: community, inclusion, respect, and the love of the game.

The Hawks Dream Field was created to be a place where EVERYONE belongs and EVERYONE GETS TO PLAY. A place where children and families can come together, feel safe, feel supported, and create memories that last a lifetime. From players and coaches to officials, volunteers, parents, grandparents and spectators, every single person who steps onto this field should feel welcomed and valued.

Respect will always be at the heart of this field. Bullying, harassment, intimidation, or disrespectful behavior have no place here. Not in the dugouts, not in the stands, not on the field, and not in our community.

We all play a role in creating the kind of environment we want our children to grow up in. Let's cheer loudly, encourage often, teach kindly, and remember why we are all here in the first place: for the kids, for the community and for the joy that baseball brings.

The Hawks Dream Field is more than just a ball field. It is a legacy of compassion, perseverance, and inclusion. Let's continue to protect that legacy together and ensure that this remains a safe, fun and positive space for everyone who walks through the gates.

PROUD MOMENT!!!! The Hawks Dream Field Society would like to say a HUGE thank you to Tompkins Elementary School student SKYLAR HICKEY. Skylar chose to do her Heritage Project on the Hawks Dream Field! What an honour for us! She had some help from her amazing Teacher Assistants Carol MacLeod and Wanda Devison. Skylar's Mom Rochelle was kind enough to send us a few photos.

Skylar, we are so proud of you! Your presentation is so beautiful. You included everything! Even Hecky the Hawk! Thank you so much. We are truly honoured.
