We still have lots of spots to fill at our Monster Mash Bake Table, and we need your help!

Our kids absolutely LOVE the bake table, and we want to make it extra special for them this year! 💜

We’re looking for donations of baked goods, drinks, and other sweet treats! 🍪🧃🍫

Monster Mash has a NEW format this year, and we want to make sure all families are aware of the changes!

📍 Wilder Penfield School Gym

💚 K4–Grade 2 | 6:00–7:30 PM
💜 Grades 3–6 | 7:30–9:00 PM

Get ready for a fun-filled evening featuring:
🔎 Scavenger Hunt
🎭 Costume Parade
🎃 Pumpkin Contest
🎶 Music & Dancing
👀 Age-appropriate activities and surprise entertainment for each session!

🎃 PUMPKIN CONTEST: Bring a decorated pumpkin to enter!

🚨 IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

✅ All families MUST register online before attending. NO WALK-INS will be accepted!

✅ This is NOT a drop-off event. Adult supervision is required.

✅ Grade levels are suggested guidelines. Please choose the session that best suits your family.

✅ Families with children in different age groups may register for one or both sessions.

Get creative and start planning your pumpkin masterpieces this weekend! 👻

🏆 Two contests, two winners! One winning pumpkin will be chosen by popular vote during each Monster Mash session!

🎃👻 MONSTER MASH IS BACK - WITH A NEW FORMAT THIS YEAR! 🕷️🦇

Lots of new info below, please read!

We’ve listened to your feedback and are making some changes to help make this year’s Monster Mash more enjoyable and safer for everyone! 💙

This year, we’re introducing two separate sessions based on grade level so we can offer a more spacious and age-appropriate experience for our younger and older students.

💚 K4–Grade 2 | 6:00–7:30 PM
Expect light spooky fun and just the right amount of fright for our younger monsters!

💜 Grades 3–6 | 7:30–9:00 PM
Get ready for a spookier atmosphere in a darker gym for our older goblins!

📍 Both sessions will take place in the school gym.

⚠️ Please note: This is NOT a drop-off event. Adult supervision is required.

Every family must register online in order to be allowed entry, no walk-ins will be accepted.

The grade levels for the sessions are suggestions, please attend the 1 session that best suits your family.

For families with children in various age groups, please select 1 or both sessions based on your family preference.

Your Krispy Kreme doughnuts for those who purchased will be ready for pickup tomorrow (Friday) from 3:45–5:30 PM in front of the school.

If you cannot make it, please arrange for someone to pick up your order, as we cannot store food at the school.

🐺💙 Your October Wilder Newsletter is here! 💙🐺

October is packed at Wilder, and there’s lots to celebrate, share and look forward to! 🍂🎃

✨ Celebrating our recent successes: Welcome Wilder was an incredible evening filled with delicious food, dancing, lawn games, football, a photo booth and, of course, a very special visit from 2 Montreal Alouettes players and Wolfie! 🏈🐺 Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the evening so memorable.

🍕 Pizza lunches are back! Our pizza fundraiser continues to be a huge success, and thanks to your support, we’ve been able to expand from 2 pizza lunches per month to 3! Check the newsletter for all the upcoming pizza dates.

💙 Wilder WOW! We’re still blown away by the incredible turnout at our first Home & School meeting. Seeing so many parents come out, share ideas and show their support for our school was truly amazing. This is what community looks like!

Our events simply wouldn’t happen without the incredible people who volunteer their time, energy and heart. This month, we’re giving a special shoutout to Christine G, who came out to support Welcome Wilder and helped until the very end.
