Let's remember every single thing we have to be grateful for: everything the Lord has done for us, everything He has given to us and most importantly, everything He IS to us. Praise Him!

Our crew spent a week at Round Lake First Nations. It was an amazing time of fellowship with the local church/pastors there, and getting to know this welcoming community. We got to enjoy the Moose Festival and tried delicious traditional meals. We thank Ivan and Fay, that hosted us so well. For many opportunities like this to come🙌🏻

Staff Highlight! Meet the Grau family ☺️☺️ Renato and Leticia and their two kids arrived in April from Uruguay and are currently living in the tiny home on base. They have a huge heart for the local community here and evangelism in the North. They have been such a lovely addition to our team and already have seen God move in mighty ways in bringing them to YWAM Sunset Country and the connections they have made here. They bring many skills to the table including speaking Spanish, Portuguese, and English! We are so excited to have them join our team and help further the mission of YWAM SC reaching the local community.

Two more values to go. What a blessing to meditate in the Scripture and align our lives with it.

17. Practice hospitality
YWAM affirms the ministry of hospitality as an expression of God’s character and the value of people. We believe it is important to open our hearts, homes, YWAM locations and campuses to serve and honor one another, our guests and the poor and needy, not as acts of social protocol, but as expressions of generosity. Here some pics of our community nights when we open the base for the community around it, to hang out, share a meal and build up each other.

Creemos que es importante abrir nuestros corazones, hogares, centros y campus de JUCUM para servirnos y honrarnos mutuamente, así como a nuestros invitados y a los pobres y necesitados; no como actos de protocolo social, sino como expresiones de generosidad. 16. Practice dependence on God
YWAM is called to practice a life of dependence upon God for financial provision. For individuals and for any YWAM team or community, this comes primarily through His people. As God has been generous toward us, so we desire to be generous, giving ourselves, our time and talents to God with no expectation of remuneration.

16. Practicar la dependencia de Dios
JUCUM está llamado a vivir una vida de dependencia de Dios para su provisión financiera. Tanto para las personas como para cualquier equipo o comunidad de JUCUM, esto se recibe principalmente a través de su pueblo. Así como Dios ha sido generoso con nosotros, deseamos ser generosos, entregándonos a Él, nuestro tiempo y nuestros talentos sin esperar nada a cambio.

15 is Value families📍
Here there is a really important value for Ywam Sunset Country. We are two families with kids, focusing daily in teaching our children to love the Lord, love serving Him and others meanwhile encouraging others to engage in missions with their families.
YWAM affirms the importance of families serving God together in missions, not just the father and/or mother. We also embrace the inclusion of single-parent families. We encourage the development of strong and healthy family units, with each member sharing the call to missions and contributing their gifts in unique and complementary ways. We uphold and celebrate the biblical view that God’s intent for holy matrimony is between one man and one woman.

15. Valorar a la familia
Este es un valor fundamental para Ywam Sunset Country. Somos dos familias con hijos, dedicadas diariamente a enseñarles a amar al Señor, a servirle a Él y a los demás, a la vez que animamos a otros a participar en misiones con sus familias.
JUCUM afirma la importancia de que las familias sirvan a Dios juntas en las misiones, no solo el padre y/o la madre. También acogemos a las familias monoparentales. Fomentamos el desarrollo de unidades familiares fuertes y saludables, donde cada miembro comparte el llamado a las misiones y aporta sus dones de maneras únicas y complementarias. Defendemos y celebramos la visión bíblica de que el propósito de Dios para el santo matrimonio es entre un hombre y una mujer.
