⚠️ If you can’t see the driver, they can’t see you.
APTA is proud to launch our latest TV and streaming safety awareness campaign with the Nova Scotia Trucking Safety Association. Running throughout 2026, this spot highlights the importance of sharing the road with trucks and understanding truck blind spots. Truck blind spots extend far beyond mirrors - especially along the sides, directly in front, and behind the trailer.

Congratulations to Jeff King, Tommy Pouliot, and everyone at Manitoulin Transport on the official grand opening of their new Moncton terminal!

The new facility located at 200 Babineau Blvd E in Moncton significantly enhances the company’s service capabilities throughout the Maritimes.

This significant investment in Atlantic Canada strengthens transportation capacity across the region and reinforces Greater Moncton's role as a critical gateway for trade and commerce. The new 23,000-square-foot facility, features 22 dock doors and provides enhanced connectivity to Manitoulin's national LTL network.

On behalf of the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association, we congratulate the entire Manitoulin team on this exciting milestone and wish you continued success in the years ahead.

🚨 Large trucks have significant no-zones on all sides where drivers cannot see surrounding vehicles. Our new TV and streaming safety campaign with the Nova Scotia Trucking Safety Association highlights these blind spots using real near-miss footage captured by our members’ outward-facing cameras. Thank you to our members who contributed video and insight to help make our roads safer.
