We are a community lunchroom that operates each Tuesday at noon till 2p.m., to provide free lunch.

Lots of new activities to keep us busy this fall..hope you are planning to bring your friends "Out to Lunch" again this coming Tuesday. What a lovely crowd we had last week. We may have to set up more tables for the extra guests as the season progresses!
Here is the menu for your gustation: Starting with fresh watermelon and grapes. The main course will be pizza - pepperoni, vegetarian or margherita will be on offer! There will be ham wraps if you prefer and a new "pizza/pasta salad" on the side with the usual chef salad also...
Of course we will present loads of desserts including, fruit cocktail, apple crisp, banana loaf, cupcakes and cookies.

Wow the first day of September on Tuesday (sorry for my previous error!), and Labour day is coming up soon...the kids are preparing for back to school and adults preparing for the Fall season to come.
Planning another delicious lunch for our friends and neighbours as usual, and here is the menu:
Starting with an offering of corn chips with a tasty creamy dip.
Main will be Bbq chicken and a side of tasty fried rice. There will be Bologna subs and potato salad also. Desserts galore as usual - including fruit cocktail, pumpkin pie, pineapple upside down cake and lots of cookies and squares.

We had a great getogether last Tuesday after the summer haitus - so good to see all our friends and supporters once again, and now planning for the August 24th lunch.
We are starting with fresh watermelon, and the main course will be pulled pork on a bun with caramelized onions. A choice of pasta salad, chef salad and egg sandwiches rounds out the meal followed by our delicious bread and butter pudding for dessert, plus lots of other gateaux and cookies.

Hopefully everyone has been able to enjoy the summer break - and it is not over yet for many people. The sun continues to bring us really hot and humid days...and now the re-opening of the Lunch gathering will be happening this coming Tuesday 18th August at the Oasis Church, 214-14th Ave in Deux Montagnes.
Come along at Midday with your friends to enjoy the delicious offerings that we have planned.
Starting with a delightful offering of fresh crudités and dip, followed by your favorite michigan hot-dogs and steamed corn-on-the-cob. A lovely fresh spinach salad as an accompaniment. Also a choice of sliced roast pork sandwiches. Many desserts as usual including fruit cocktail, strawberry tarts and gateaux and cookies also.
Looking forward to seeing all your friendly faces once again.....this event is open to all & there is no charge - but any small donations are gratefully accepted.

Please join us one more time at noon on July 14th for this Tuesday's free luncheon before we close for the summer. The time has gone so fast, but I hope you all have great plans for the coming month... we will be closed for four weeks and opening up again on Aug.18th.
The menu this week will be starting with fresh watermelon and cheese summertime skewers...then tasty pizza slices (all dressed, cheese or vegetarian) A choice of egg salad sandwiches and a nice orzo salad alongside the usual chef salad.
Desserts include chocolate cake, mini donuts, ice cream cake and a variety of cookies.

Hope you all had a good week-I climbed to the top of Green Mountain near Labelle. and enjoyed the fresh mountain air and swimming in Lac Labelle ...
The menu for this Tuesday's lunch is as follows:
Starting with a platter of veggies and dip, the main course will be Cassoulet(Smoked Pork sausage 'n beans)/ There will be salads as usual including a BLT mac'n cheese presentation. We are having grilled cheese sandwiches also, and finishing oiff with a great variety of desserts including fruit cocktail, butter pecan cake and pumpkin pie.
Yes we are still open for a couple of weeks closing for the summer from 21st July and re-opening on the 18th August.

Better late than never...tomorrow Tuesday 22nd June, we will be serving another delicious lunch to all our friends and neighbours...as usual around midday you will be welcomed to our venue at 214-14th avenue in Deux Montagnes, Q.C.
The free lunch will be served at 12:30 starting with a platter of crudites -vegetable & dip. The main course is roasted chicken and potatoes, with a delightfully fresh spinach salad or chef salad. There will be a choice of ham'n cheese wraps also. The desserts will be numerous including apple crisp cakes and cookies.

Hello once again...the Tuesday community lunch in Deux Montagnes was very well attended last week and it was so good to spend time with all our regulars and those returning from various trips etc. As we progress into the summer months the menu for the free lunch at noontime will include some of the fresh local produce that is offered in our local stores.
This coming week there will be a watermelon and feta cheese platter to start. Then satisfying michigan hot-dogs and corn-on-cob. This all accompanied with rainbow coleslaw and chef salad.
Desserts will be strawberry tarts, pineapple cake and pumpkin-pie with ice-cream plus a fresh fruit salad.

Just a reminder that we will be open each week until the last two weeks of July and then closing until the middle of August. You will be informed of the exact dates.

For the second week of June we have planned a tasty menu for allcomers:
With a starter of crudite and dips, followed by a delicious pasta bolognese with garlic bread. Then grilled cheese and ham sandwiches and a fresh cauliflower salad.
The desserts will include a no nonsense cake and a chocolate gateau. Plus fruit salad and dessert.
We look forward to sharing the lunchtime goodies with all our friends and neighbours as usual at the Oasis Church, 214-14th avenue in Deux Montagnes. Doors open at noon.
Our venue will stay open each Tuesday until the construction holiday in July and we re-open on the third week of August.
