🚑 Would you know what to do in a medical emergency?

During one of our Wednesday Wellness in Sainte-Agathe, 17 seniors took on that challenge - and they absolutely nailed it! 💪

Our group participated in a hands-on First Aid and CPR training, learning essential life-saving skills including cardiopulmonary resuscitation and how to use a defibrillator. Everyone left feeling more confident and better prepared to respond safely in an emergency. 💙

A huge thank you to trainers Kim Mauricie and Juliette Mulcair for sharing their expertise with such enthusiasm - your energy made all the difference! 🌟

This is what staying strong and connected looks like. 🌿

A great team deserves a great day! 💜

On Monday, we gathered at the beautiful Chalet Bellevue in Morin Heights for our last all-day staff meeting before summer. The day was packed with meaningful moments - from reviewing our Impact Report together, to a photography workshop with Tanis, forest bathing, and some friendly outdoor team competitions. ☀️🏀

It's days like these that remind us why we do what we do - because a connected, energized team is at the heart of everything we bring to our community.

Happy summer to the best team around! 🌿

🌟 We are proud to share this recognition of 4Korners and Chloée Alary following her years of service as Vice-President of the TCRAL Board of Directors!

On behalf of 4Korners, we extend our sincere thanks to the TCRAL for this acknowledgment. It has been an honour to contribute to a regional table dedicated to supporting the well-being, inclusion, and quality of life of older adults across the Laurentians.

Congratulations to the incoming Board of Directors! We look forward to continuing to work alongside TCRAL and our community partners to support older adults and help build stronger, more connected communities throughout the Laurentians.

🛡️ Knowledge is one of the best tools to protect our seniors!

Our Seniors & Caregivers Activity Coordinator Kelli recently attended an important presentation in Arundel - Aînés Avisés - co-animated by FADOQ - Région des Laurentides volunteer Jacques Bélanger and Laurentians community police officer Jonathan Hatfield.

The Arundel Elders community group learned about fraud prevention and how to recognize different types of abuse that seniors can sometimes face - essential knowledge that helps keep our community members safe and informed. 💙

A huge thank you to Julia Stuart of Arundel for coordinating the workshop - and for the delicious cookies! 🍪

This is exactly the kind of community collaboration that makes the Laurentians stronger. 🌿

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Annual General Meeting on June 11 at the Heritage Club in Deux-Montagnes! 🙏

It was a wonderful evening to reflect on a remarkable year for the English-speaking community of the Laurentians. Here's a look at what we accomplished together:

🗓️ 1,327 activities held during the year
👥 3,334 unique individuals registered
🏠 385 registered members
⏰ 977+ volunteer hours contributed
🤝 313 individual support sessions provided

None of this happens without our 23 dedicated staff members, 10 board members, 71 volunteers - and you, our community. Thank you. 💜

Have you ever wondered what really happens when a youth worker shows up at your school? 🎤

In this episode of the 4K Youth Korner Jeunesse Podcast, Emma sat down with Jade and Jean-Christophe from Aire ouverte Laurentides - two youth workers known for their engaging and memorable kiosks that keep young people coming back for more.

Big news for health services in the Laurentians! 🏥

The Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux des Laurentides (CISSS des Laurentides) is now officially known as Santé Québec Laurentides - part of a province-wide rebranding to make the health network easier to navigate for everyone in Quebec.

What does this mean for you? Same services, same teams, same mission - just a new name.

As a longstanding partner, 4Korners will continue to work closely with Santé Québec Laurentides to support the English-speaking community of the Laurentians in accessing the health and social services they need. 💜

𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐫𝐞 𝐞́𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞́ 𝐐𝐮𝐞́𝐛𝐞𝐜 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬.
