As of August 18th, 2025 the Johnson Township Fire Ban has been lifted.

Enjoy a cozy Bonfire this weekend before the end of summer. But remember to practice safe burning and following the guidelines provided by the Desbarats Volunteer Fire Department .

- Apply for your Fire Permit online: https://johnsontownship.ca/services/fire-department/
- Prior to burning, please call 705-782-6802 or email [email protected] to provide your name, address, date and time of burning.
- Keep your burn pile less than 2M in diameter and 2M high.
- Always share your marshmallows with friends and neighbours!
