We are aware of the comments and questions circulating on social media regarding the Thrift Shop, and we understand that people care deeply about this organization and the volunteers who make it what it is.

We are working toward reopening the Thrift Shop as soon as we can do so responsibly and with the appropriate supports in place.

We ask for patience, respect, and a shared commitment to the values that have guided this organization for more than 50 years.

The DHAS Thrift Shop remains closed at present. The Board of Directors is working to re-establish a safe and supportive environment for our dedicated and valued volunteers and for the Delta community. It is the Board’s goal to re-open the Thrift Shop as soon as possible.

DHAS remains focused on its mission: supporting patient care and comfort at the Delta Hospital Campus of Care.

DHAS is pleased to welcome Matt Doherty to the Delta Hospital Auxiliary Society as Operations Coordinator.

Matt brings over ten years of experience in administration, event operations, and organizational leadership, with a strong background in operational coordination, volunteer engagement, and program management.

Matt will oversee and support the administrative, operational, and volunteer management activities of DHAS. Please help us make him feel welcome!
