Delta Stroke Recovery Society Stroke recovery is better with friends! At DSRS, we offer a social environment of stroke survivors, caregivers, staff and volunteers.

We offer weekly programs, including Speech Language Pathology, all-abilities fitness, cognitive activities, wayfinding to Delta community resources, and so much more. This is a space to make new friends, increase lifestyle options, and become partners in stroke recovery. Our weekly program includes:
• Speech pathology classes led by an SLP
• Exercise classes led by a fitness instructor
• Brain games
• A mall walk program
• Guest speakers
• Activities & outings
• Caregiver support

Here’s our winner! We all win!

We had a very successful 50/50 draw at Tsawwassen! Together we raised $4,510., with $2,255. awarded to Scott and his family, our lucky ticket winner from Delta B.C., and $2,255 in our community! Funds raised will go towards stroke survivors recovery programs that help Delta’s stroke survivors continue their recovery journey. Thanks to all our volunteers and to Steve for all his hard work!

Winning Ticket Announcement!

Delta Stroke Recovery Society is pleased to announce the winning ticket from our 2026 Tsawwassen Sun Festival 50/50 Raffle. The winning ticket Number was 188975. The ticket holder has been notified, and the prize claim is being verified.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our fundraiser by purchasing tickets throughout the 3-day Sun Festival. We especially appreciate the support of Sun Festival attendees, the participating slo-pitch teams, our volunteers, and everyone who stopped by our booth to learn more about Delta Stroke Recovery Society.

Together, we raised $4,510, with $2,255 awarded to our lucky ticket winner and $2,255 staying right here in our community. Funds raised will go towards stroke recovery programs that help Delta's stroke survivors continue their recovery journey.

Hello Everyone,
The Day 3 numbers are in!
We raised another $1,000 today. We are just waiting for the DAY 3 final bank reconciliation, so there may be a few additional dollars added to both the winner's prize and the amount supporting DSRS.
Conservatively, we have raised $4,000 over the three-day Sun Festival weekend!
Approximately $2,000 will go to our lucky 50/50 winner, who has now been notified (a Ladner resident).
Approximately $2,000 will directly be put towards supporting our Delta Stroke Recovery Society programs.

Delta Stroke Recovery Society is excited to be part of the Tsawwassen Sun Festival, August 1, 2 & 3.

We will be there to share what we do, talk about our programs, and meet members of our wonderful Delta community. If you've ever wondered how we support stroke survivors after they finish their public healthcare rehab, we'd be happy to tell you more.
