Good evening, beachgoers! Despite the wind and waves, your RRIA ventured out for a little while Sunday morning to start stacking tables for the winter. We didn’t get everything done but we got an important start to safeguarding our equipment for next season.

As soon as weather permits, we will be back out to finish what we started. Hopefully in a bit calmer conditions!

Good afternoon, boaters! Suddenly the summer that almost wasn’t seems to be pretty much over, and September is here! 🤯 While the weather was pretty rainy, your RRIA team worked to keep things as smooth as possible through the summer. We hope you enjoyed the bit of warm weather we got, and are joining us in crossing your fingers for a nice fall.

Our twice weekly beach service has wound down, but we are still out once a week to clean up after the weekend. If you see our student out there, please feel free to give him a wave.

We want to thank all of you who have joined, renewed, and donated this summer. Memberships remain available for those who haven’t had an opportunity to purchase one yet and would like to support.

All the best for the long weekend, and as always, boat safely!

Good afternoon, boaters, and happy Canada Day! While the heat took a while to get here, it seems to now be here in spades, along with the wild weather it can often bring.

Your RRIA is in business for the season, with our student working on beach service. The persistent high water levels well into June this year means two things for us. First, we’re late getting started so we’re a bit behind where we’d like to be. Second, and more importantly for all of you, the high water took some or tables and cans from the beaches. We’re working on recovering and replacing, as applicable, but it will take us a few weeks to get it all sorted out.

We’re as excited as you about getting back on the river but we’re asking for a bit of patience as we sort out our equipment and optimize beach provisions until we get back up to full stock. Rest assured, we’re working on it.

We appreciate your continued support, and as always boat safely!

Good Friday evening boaters! It’s finally starting to feel like May and with the first official long weekend of the summer, this fine looking crew is excited about another year on the water. Our student, Wyatt, will be out and about once the beaches make their reappearance, while the rest of us will do our things behind the scenes to make sure the whole operation runs smoothly.

For those of you who’ve purchased your 2026 memberships already, we appreciate your support. Memberships are available from any of us and via e-transfer to rria DOT deepriver AT gmail DOT com. They remain $25 for the season.

If you’re out enjoying the river already, be mindful of both the cold water and floating debris. As always, boat safely!

Good morning boaters! After a long winter, the ice is gone but so are the beaches! Anyone who’s been near the river in our area will know the water is very high. A few folks are venturing out, so we just want to remind you of the hazards with higher than normal water. This is the time of year that sticks and logs can get floated away from their normal positions and cause a hazard to boaters, as well as deadheads that we can see in the summer are now lurking below the surface.

Your RRIA is gearing up for another season and we’re anxiously awaiting the water to go down, and to warm up! We just picked up this year’s stickers and are starting to see e-transfers come in already. Thank you to those who have already purchased your memberships.

To those of you who are out on the water, please take extra caution in your travels.
