Recognizing One of Our Own

As a club, we would like to recognize a volunteer in our community. Patricia Scrivens has selflessly given many hours to help make our snowmobile club what it is today.

Beyond the Missing Link Snowmobile Club, Patricia dedicates her time to many worthy causes in and around the Greater Capital Region as well.

On Tuesday April 14th, 2026, Patricia was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship. The Honorable Lieutenant Governor Edith Dumont honored recipients during a ceremony held at the Lieutenant Governor’s Suite at Queens Park in Toronto.

Congratulations Patricia! Well deserved. We are proud to have you as part of our community!

All trails in Snow Country D6 have closed for the season.
We’d like to thank our dedicated volunteers & staff for another great season. 14 clubs provided riders over 2800 km of available trail, 9000 hours of grooming, and a season stretching from mid December to April 4th.
To our landowners and supporters, we couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you!
Just because the trails have closed doesnt mean the work stops. Our Clubs are already gearing up for the 2026-2027 season and could use your help. Reach out to us and we’ll put you In touch with your local club.

That’s a wrap on another incredible season… our trails are now officially closed. ❄️

From opening day on December 27th, 2025, with all of our trails ready to ride, to closing today, April 3rd, 2026 — what a season it has been.

From the first snowfall to the last ride, we’ve shared countless memories on the trails, and it wouldn’t have been possible without an amazing group of people behind the scenes.

The Missing Link Snowmobile Club would like to extend our heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers. Whether you were out clearing trails, putting up signage, cutting trees, brushing throughout the year, or helping at events — your time and dedication never go unnoticed.

To our groomer operators, who spent many long nights out there laying down that perfect white ribbon for everyone to enjoy — your commitment and hard work are truly appreciated.

To all of our sponsor’s and businesses, thank you for your support in your advertising or our rally. Your support dollars helps make our trails what they are.

To our landowners and municipality, thank you for allowing us the privilege to use your land. Without your support, our trail system simply would not be possible.

And most importantly, to the snowmobilers — thank you. Thank you for your love of the sport, for riding our trails, supporting our rally and cafés, and purchasing your trail permits. You are the reason we do what we do.

From all of us at Missing Link Snowmobile Club thank you for an unforgettable season. We’ll see you next winter. 🛷💙

Mother Nature must have misread the map when our area was getting distributed weather conditions, instead of rain we got a generous helping of wet snow. Luckily, last night's 4 inches of powder and tonight's deep freeze have our trails in fantastic shape. Our trail director and some keen volunteers have given them a thumbs up after today's inspection. Groomers will be out again tonight to keep the trails perfect. Make sure you've got your accommodation sorted and swing by our cafes on Friday in Mackey and Saturday at the warming shack, with all proceeds supporting MLSC trails.
