Deep River - Allumette Flying Club

The Allumette Flying Club is located in scenic Deep River, ON (CPH2). In July 2018, the Allumette Flying Club upgraded from a C-150 to a C-172M. The club's overhead and administration costs are minimal, so members can benefit from one of the lowest flying rates in Canada! We welcome new members that hold a Canadian PPL or higher Canadian pilot license. Unfortunately, Recreational Pilot Permits ca

nnot be accepted. The airplane, a Cessna 172M, is certified for VFR day and VFR night operation. Our home base Deep River (CPH2) has a 3800 ft grass strip with reflectors and runway lights that are ground controlled. If you are interested in becoming a member, please, send us a message and we are more than happy to discuss terms and cost with you. Only members can rent the airplane, we are unable to rent to visiting pilots. The Allumette Flying Club offers very affordable flying rates for the Upper Ottawa Valley. Joining Fee: 900 CAD (one time payment for a full membership)
Rental Rate (wet): 190 CAD / hr
Parking Surcharge: 15 CAD / month or 180 CAD / yr
Insurance: ~650 CAD / member and year (varies with number of members)

Also, the Allumette Flying Clubs offers an up to two years temporary membership to accommodate pilots that wish to check out the club before committing to a full membership. Joining Fee: 300 CAD for each of the first two years

Insurance: ~650 CAD / member and year (varies with number of members)
After the first two years the temporary member has to decide to upgrade to a full membership or to leave the club. An upgrade to a full membership can be bought for additional 300 CAD. HST is not applicable.
