UOVMHL and Ottawa Valley Thunder are partnering and opening a survey to determine if there is interest in a girl’s house league pilot program for the 2026-27 season.

The goal is to Play Local & Practice Local.

If you are a girl registered in a Minor Hockey Association OR registered in Ottawa Valley Thunder OR never played hockey before & want to play in a local girls house league next season - Fill out this survey!!

The Deep River Skating Club will help your child develop fundamental and advanced skating skills. We offer CanSkate, Figure Skating, and CanPowerSkate programs which will help skaters interested in pursuing hockey, speed skating, ringette and figure skating.

Hi All,

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who came out last night for the Glow Golf. We had 100 golfs!! Thanks to all of you and all the amazing sponsors we were able to raise roughly $4,300. Which will be split between the Deep River Golf Club’s junior program and Sports Building Sports.

A big thank you to the student volunteers that set out and cleaned up all the glow sticks, drove around taking peoples empties/garbage and sold the 50/50, extra glow sticks and balls.

Also a huge thank you to Janelle and her team at The Turn Restaurant & Bar for the amazing Street Food Buffet and drinks! As always bringing the fun on the beer cart!

I hope everyone had an amazing time and we can’t wait to do it all again next year!
