Crip Trip Docuseries Production Coming to Dawson City | Aug 27 – Sept 2

The Klondike Visitor’s Association is pleased to welcome the production crew and cast of AMI-tv’s disability-focused docuseries “Crip Trip” to Dawson City from August 27-Sep 2.

The production team welcomes all businesses or residents who are interested in connecting with our team, to please contact our production office – we are especially keen to meet with anyone with a story to tell about their disability experience living in a remote community.

Businesses or residents interested in extending an invitation for Danny, Fred, and the production team to experience their business, attraction, tour, or service while they are in town are encouraged to reach out to [email protected] or if you see the Valkyrie in the streets, say hello!

Did you know that the we contribute annually to the Crime Prevention Victim Services Trust fund? Over the past 10 years, the Klondike Visitors Association has contributed over 3 million dollars of Diamond Tooth Gerties profits toward preventing crime and supporting victims throughout Yukon communities. This year, we're proud to give our highest contribution ever with $422,505.43!

If your organization has a project that does one of the following, you may be eligible to apply for this funding:
- Reduce crime
- Prevent gender-based violence or violence against women and children
- Provide information about crime prevention, preventing victimization, and services offered for victims
- Provide programs and services for victims

The deadline to apply is August 15th!
