Dawson Creek Dog Park Society The Dawson Creek Dog Park Society is a non-profit organization looking to raise money for a permanent dog park.

The temporary park is now open and is located at the ball diamond in Barbaree Park, Dawson Creek.

Thank you to Jackie, Mike, Jim, Anne, Melissa, Katalin, Don & Jane for showing up and doing the dog parks section for the City clean up!!! Took them about 50 min to get the whole section done!!! So thankful for wonderful supporters and board members who go above and beyond!!!

UPDATE!

city clean up!

We will be doing our section on May 16th meeting at the Bethel Church for 9:15am

Our sction is 116th from 17th street to 8th street and the 219 rd south on the dangerous good route.

It would be amazing if we had a few more people come help!

Hello friends!!

Just an update as we have reached spring time!

* We have not heard any news on when the water will be turned on.

* We are participating in the city clean up this month and will be doing our assigned section On May 16th beginning in the morning. We will confirm time closer to the date.

We are always looking for more board members and also ideas for fundraising.

There will be a table set up at the Dawson Mall tomorrow Nov 23 selling dog toys, treats and small inexpensive gifts to help raise money for the Dog Park. 11:00am till 3:00pm

As previous posted tonight Oct 27th was the 2025 AGM for the dog park.
Considering all the interest that was shown at previous meetings. We were very surprised to only have the current board members in attendance.

So as it stands the Board stays as is and we will be doing what is needed to keep the park running.

AGM will be on Oct 27th at 630 pm held at 11129 16 St.

All board positions are open for voting.

The main water line at the dog park has been turned off for the winter. If water is needed you will need to bring your own.

Dog Park AGM will be held on October 27th at 6:30 pm. The location is still being determined and will be posted as soon as possible.

There will be informal meeting at the dog park at 6pm Monday Sept 15th. All are welcome.
