Every piece of equipment our Foundation funds tells a story — and Signs & Things makes sure that story is visible.

During her father's lengthy hospitalization, Leslie witnessed firsthand the dedication and compassion healthcare professionals bring to their patients every single day. It inspired her to find a way to give back.

For 24 years, Signs & Things has been a family-run fixture in Dawson Creek. Now run by Leslie and her son Colin, the shop donates the stickers applied to every piece of equipment purchased through donor support — quietly present on every single item we've placed in our hospital.

Next time you see a piece of equipment at Dawson Creek & District Hospital, know that the sticker on it represents two acts of generosity — the donor who funded it, and the family who made sure it carried our community's name.

We’re incredibly grateful to Lake View Credit Union for their $100,000 gift to our MRI campaign.

Their support is helping bring advanced diagnostic imaging to Dawson Creek and ensuring patients can access the care they need, close to home.

With this contribution, we’re over 90% of the way to our goal — and getting closer every day.

🗓️THIS Wednesday May 27 the team at Westland Insurance Dawson Creek will be out in the community for their local food drive called "Stuff a Truck" in partnership with Inland Auto Centre.
