Too many elves to name, but the amount of people who made another year successful, is amazing. Santa gave all the volunteers & supporters a big HOHO. With the Rotary Club of Dartmouth NS Dartmouth East Rotary Club & in house servings, we were able to give just over 300 meals out. Thanks to the efforts of our members, the Rotary Club of Dartmouth has been recognized for the highest per capita giving to the Rotary International Foundation.

Dartmouth has a great Remembrance Day event at Sullivan's Pond, with lots of vets, CAF folks, cadets and residents. Rotary was represented, as a part of the community our veterans and war dead served.

This Saturday, November 1, on a very windy and cold morning, 8 members of the Rotary Club of Dartmouth took part in the semi-annual Highway Cleanup on a section of Windmill Road in Burnside.

They assembled a collection of loose garbage, car parts, coffee cups, and "surprise" items that were the litter left behind by travellers in the area.

Event Chair Mike Monaghan was pleased with the cleanup results, reminding Rotarians and borrowing from The Terminator movies, "we'll be back" next Spring.

Rotary Club of Dartmouth President Will Julian presents a cheque for $6,000, including a special $1500 contribution from Scotia Bank, to Mike Vautour of the Greater Halifax Boys and Girls Clubs. This cheque represents the proceeds of our Club's Annual Golf Tournament at Osprey Ridge Golf Club in September.
The funds raised from this event help support the on-going cost of breakfast programs helping youth start every school day stronger in our community. Thanks to our volunteers, our golfers and the representatives of Scotia Bank and the Boys and Girls Clubs who make this support possible.

Dear Rotarians, friends, family, volunteers, and valued supporters of the Rotary Club of Dartmouth - thank you for making our annual fundraising golf event on September 11th at the Osprey Ridge Golf Club in Bridgewater a success.

The annual fundraising tournament brought out 75 golfers who did not just play a round; they swung to support the club community efforts: the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Halifax (https://www.bgcgh.ca/) and the Dartmouth General Hospital foundation. These dedicated golfers embodied our “Service Above Self” motto with every swing and putt.

We successfully raised vital funds because of your generosity.

On behalf of the Club President, our directors, and all members of The Rotary Club of Dartmouth, we offer our deepest gratitude. Thank you to everyone who played, to every company and organization that sponsored a hole on the course, and especially to Scotiabank for their major $1,500 sponsorship supporting the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Halifax.
