Who we are

The Occupational Diving Safety Association of Nova Scotia (ODSA-NS) is a newly formed dive safety group with the goal of creating a safer diving environment in Nova Scotia. We hope to achieve this through effective communication, advocation, and participation in the diving industry. Our objective is to work closely with diving stakeholders to address long-standing issues with diving safety. We aim to identify safe work practices for occupational diving in Nova Scotia by reviewing current standards and regulations, as well as examining best current practices and new technologies to ensure diver safety.

The organization welcomes all players involved in occupational diving, such as divers, companies, regulators, and stakeholders, as to establish active communication within the occupational diving community.

The ODSA-NS mission is to provide communication, advocation, and participation (CAP) to promote safe diving practices in Nova Scotia.
