Customized spinal bracing, as shown in this photo, can prevent the need for someone to undergone a spinal fusion surgery due to scoliosis. However, they aren’t covered provincially or by most insurance plans—leaving families to shoulder costs of $4,000–$5,000 per brace.

Thanks to the incredible support from our community, our 3rd Annual Swing for Scoliosis Golf Tournament raised an amazing $17,000, which helped launch the IWK Scoliosis Bracing Program—a huge milestone! 🎉

With many children still on waitlists to access the braces they urgently need, we’ve kicked off an additional fundraiser through , with a goal of raising $30,000. Whether you can make a one-time gift or a recurring monthly donation, every dollar helps a child stand tall 💚

Together, we raised a grand total of $17,000 at this year’s Swing for Scoliosis charity golf tournament! ⛳️

All net proceeds will be donated to the ’s Orthopaedic Clinic to support their scoliosis bracing program.

This program helps ensure youth diagnosed with scoliosis can access custom spinal braces which help prevent curve progression and, in many cases, avoid the need for spinal surgery.

We’d like to extend a huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone for your support! We are so grateful 💚
