Congratulations to Craig Carter from Agropur in Truro, Nova Scotia, on an incredible 41 years of service!
Since starting in late june of 1985, Craig has dedicated his career to the Agropur cheese plant in Salmon River, Truro. He is one of four employees at the plant with more than 40 years of service. He's been there, done that, and truly seen it all.
Throughout his career, Craig has raised a family, and now with grandchildren and has no plans of slowing down anytime soon.
Reaching 41 years of service is a testament not only to Craig's dedication and work ethic, but also to the value of strong union contracts and a well-run company.

Pictured with Craig is his union steward, Bryan Mingo (red shirt), who also has an impressive 28 years of service.

Congratulations, Craig! Thank you for your dedication, commitment, and many years of hard work and unionism.

Today kicked off a Maritime tour of a 2 day Steward training seminar in Dartmouth, Moncton and Sydney hosted by Jamie Donnelly, the Director of Education for Teamsters Canada, with Teamsters Canada President François Laporte also in attendance.

Having our national leadership in the room with our Stewards where President Laporte reaffirmed Teamsters Canadas ongoing support for our Local and their dedication to providing our Stewards with top-tier education.

The entire seminar is focused on equipping our Steward Sisters and Brothers with the knowledge and tools they need to represent our members every day in all the shops we represent, with absolute confidence. By investing time and resources into this level of training, Teamsters Canada is actively helping us reinforce our foundation to ensure we continue to grow bigger, stronger, and more united than ever.

Next stop on the trail, Moncton New Brunswick beginning Thursday May 14th.
